Pastoral Care:

Reaching Hands Ministry - This ministry is an extension of World Harvest Church North. It was created to help those whom the Bible instructs should receive help in a time of need. The ministry‘s main focus is widows and orphans in distress. 1 Timothy 5:3 tells us to, Honor widows that are widows indeed. In James 1:27 we read that, “A pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” There are times when the world sees people living in destitution and they ask the question, "Why doesn't God do something for them?" Unwilling to help, they seek to blame. It is the responsibility of the church to reach out to the hurting and less fortunate and be Jesus to the world. Nursing Home 

This team takes loving compassion, mercy, and the Word to those who are shut-in. Ministry with this team will offer you great rewards. Many residents meet us at the front lobby with smiling faces. They know that they are loved and that they are prayed for.  It is always a blessing to see the results.   The nursing home team ministers on Mondays from 6:15 – 8:00.
